Job description
Contract: Full-time PAYE + commission (freelance/collab models considered)

Company Description

Avalanche Music Agency International is an independent UK-based booking and artist development agency. We work with a wide mix of artists from the UK and abroad, spanning jazz, contemporary classical, Afrobeat, electronic, soul, rock, ambient, and experimental music. We’re not precious about genres – we just care about great music.

We support artists at every stage of their careers, helping them build their live presence and navigate the industry with clarity and confidence. Our roster includes both emerging and established acts, and we tailor our work to each artist’s goals and creative identity.

Our work is strengthened by many years of experience in artistic curation, festival programming, and event production. Having curated and produced festivals and cultural projects, we bring a deep understanding of how artists, audiences, and organisers connect – insight that shapes the way we develop our roster and collaborate across the industry.

We partner with promoters, festivals, venues, and cultural organisations around the world – from grassroots spaces to major events. Our focus is on building sustainable careers through long-term thinking, honest collaboration, and genuine artistic care.

Our Ethos

We believe in doing things the right way: transparently, fairly, and always in the best interests of the artist. We value open communication, respectful relationships, and integrity in everything we do – with our roster and with everyone we work with.

Role Description

Avalanche is seeking an experienced Booking Agent to join our growing independent agency at a key moment. We’re heading into peak booking season with strong momentum and several active artists requiring immediate support – so we’re looking for someone who can step in quickly and confidently.
This role is ideal for an agent who enjoys working collaboratively on an existing roster and someone who may have their own artists they’d like to bring into a supportive agency environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Support bookings across our existing Avalanche roster, co-agenting acts and managing active pipelines
  • Build and maintain relationships with promoters, venues, festivals and partners
  • We welcome agents with their own roster, and will review potential signings together
  • Pitch, negotiate and secure live opportunities across tours, festivals and one-offs
  • Work closely with the Director on strategy, planning and roster development
  • Maintain smooth booking workflow during a very active period

What You’ll Get

  • A roster to work on immediately
  • A supportive structure: assistant help for admin, plus accounting support
  • Access to booking systems, CRM, templates and internal processes
  • Collaborative daily communication and strategic guidance
  • Remote-first setup with optional in-person working days
  • Travel/professional development support tied to booking performance

Compensation

  • Full-time PAYE + performance-based commission
  • Strong earning potential as roster activity scales
  • Freelance/collaboration arrangements will be considered depending on the candidate

Who This Suits

  • An agent with proven experience and an existing network of promoters/venues/festivals
  • Someone able to jump into active bookings quickly
  • A collaborative, organised communicator who enjoys co-agenting as well as developing their own roster
  • An agent who may already have artists they’d like to bring over to an agency that provides structure, support and shared growth
  • Someone available to start immediately or very soon

Location

Remote (UK-based preferred)

How to Apply

Send a CV and a short introduction (including your experience, roster if relevant, and earliest availability) to ad_internal@avalanche-agency.com . We’re reviewing applications on a rolling basis and hope to appoint by the start of 2026.
