Born in Paisley, just outside Glasgow, Scotland, kitti is a musician and singer-songwriter who has been working in and around the Glasgow music scene from the age of 15. kitti quickly made a name for herself in the local music scene, performing at small venues and clubs around the city. kitti’s voice evokes deep emotion and touches the heart of the listener. She has a voice that has the power to move people to tears, to uplift their spirits, and to transport them to another world, and with this she soon began to attract the attention of like-minded musicians, who would quickly become her core band.
Awarded “Best Female Breakthrough” at the Scottish Music Awards 2020 and “Best Jazz Vocalist” at the Scottish Jazz Awards in 2022, kitti’s live shows and recent recordings ooze complete authenticity and individuality. She also supported the iconic Mavis Staples at Usher Hall (Edinburgh) and Van Morrison at Kelvingrove Bandstand (Glasgow) in 2021, as well as supporting Rod Stewart at this Edinburgh Castle shows in 2023.
