LATEST SINGLE RELEASE: ‘DRIVE SLOW’ (SOHO MUSIC RECORDS, 2025)

Joabe Reis is one of the most important artists of the New Instrumental Jazz in the Brazilian scene. Performed recently at The Town (Brazil), sharing the stage with Jacob Collier, Kamasi Washington and Snarky Puppy.

Joabe is a trombonist, composer and producer. He released his critically acclaimed first album in 2020, featuring Toninho Horta, Nelson Ayres and Elliot Mason (Lincoln Center Orchestra, led by Wynton Marsalis). Joabe is known for playing contemporary jazz, highly influenced by Hip-Hop, Neo Soul, Funk and Pop.

Two Europe tours 2024/2025 with shows at a sold out Ronnie Scott’s (London), Jamboree (Barcelona), Tempo Club (Madrid) and 38Riv (Paris).

Shared the stage with Shawn Mendes at Lollapalooza – Also toured with Macy Gray in Brazil, and in the same month was invited by Toninho Horta to a show in honor of Raul de Souza. Before releasing his debut, he had already played with Ivan Lins, Bob Mintzer, Robin Eubanks, Hermeto Pascoal, Hamilton de Holanda, Anitta and Roberto Menescal.

In 2024, he also performed at Rock in Rio, the biggest Brazilian festival, and performed with Ed Motta.
